We are still at Ft. Pierce enjoying the beautiful weather. We've been mainly waiting. We waited on Thursday for the marina to find another slip for us since we are staying longer than our reservation. Today we waited and waited for mechanics to show up. At least they finished by 5!
I managed to walk all the docks to look at boats and see fish and manatees.
So Kelly spent his time working on statistics! I know you have all been waiting on these details:
2169 total miles
28 locks
8 states
20 rivers/waterways (approximate)
37 marinas
13 anchorages
And another beautiful sunset.
OK. I missed something. Why did you guys need a mechanic?
ReplyDeleteNice manatee shot! Just think you have more than twice as many locks to go! We did 71 in all. The St. Lucie Lock was our last lock. Looks like you guys are having a lot fun. Always an adventure on In Deep Ship. Hey, your paths might cross Sea Cow. The new owner will be leaving Sanford soon heading down the St. Johns River. He plans to move the boat to St. Marys, Georgia. :)
It was not the kind of adventure we want to repeat by hiring someone to change the oil! Guess I will learn how in the future. We will be on the lookout for Sea Cow unless the new owner changes name.
